Lion's Paw earrings

Inspired by the striking railings that surrounded the deck at Lion’s Paw Camp on the rim of Tanzania’s Ngorongoro Crater, these earrings capture the intersection of wild landscape and thoughtful design.
 
Forged arcs of luminous Argentium® silver create an open oval form, crossed with warm accents of jeweler’s brass that echo the distinctive fencing that framed sweeping views of the crater below. Above and below the form, geometric silver links add structure and movement, while faceted tanzanite drops sway gently at the base — a nod to the deep violet-blue skies that settle over the African savanna at dusk.
