Lion's Paw necklace
High on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania sits a place called Lion’s Paw, where the deck overlooks a vast sweep of savanna below. The ironwork fence surrounding the overlook carries a quiet rhythm of repeating shapes — geometric, grounded, and deeply connected to the landscape.
This pendant draws inspiration from that moment.
A faceted Tanzanite rests within a warm brass cradle, framed by sculpted Argentium silver that forms a subtle triangular arch above the stone. The mixed metals reflect the meeting of earth and light — warm brass surrounding the stone, cool silver rising toward the horizon.
Suspended from a sterling silver chain, the design balances movement and structure, allowing the violet-blue glow of Tanzanite to remain the focal point.
