Mineral Vein earrings - Sapphire

A winding brass vein cuts through textured Argentium® silver, opening around a golden sapphire suspended within the seam. The Mineral Vein Sapphire Earrings are inspired by mineral deposits revealed in fractured stone — those hidden flashes of color and warmth that appear only after the surface has been shaped, broken, and transformed.
 
Each earring is hand fabricated in Argentium® silver, with a warm brass vein running through the textured surface. A small sapphire rests within the open aperture, giving the design the feeling of a crystal uncovered inside a rock formation. The 14kt gold-filled ear wires echo the warmth of the brass and sapphire, creating a balanced mixed-metal design that feels earthy, refined, and distinctly Strata.
 
Lightweight but sculptural, these earrings bring together texture, negative space, and gemstone color in a design that feels both ancient and contemporary.

Materials Note
Argentium® silver is a high-quality silver alloy known for its bright finish and excellent tarnish resistance compared with traditional sterling silver. The brass vein will naturally deepen slightly over time, adding to the organic character of the piece.
